RDS Moving, Storage & Disposal
Timothy Kelley is the owner of RDS, LLC, and has been working in the moving and storage business since 1993. RDS moving and Responsible Disposal Services was established in October 2008 to offer affordable, professional moving services to our moving customers and work with local charities and recycling centers in our community to properly dispose of unwanted items from the home.
We offer a full range of household moving services that include packing, moving, storage, cleaning, disposal & donation drop off. Our crews our professional, courteous, uniformed and insured.

Commercial Moving Company
Our team can move your small to medium size business. Our services include labor only for on-site (internal) moves, short or long term storage, warehouse receipt and delivery of inventory, pick-up and delivery of most items (specialized equipment is best moved by those who specialize in transporting them).
Long Distance Moving Company
We service the East Coast from Maine to Florida. We also service areas west to the Great Lakes.

We sell boxes new and used. We offer packing and unpacking services.
Post Move Cleaning Services
Many of our clients need to clean their homes after they move. We can help with this as well. We offer a full range of cleaning services from a simple washing and vacuuming the floors to a thorough cleaning of the entire home. We also have commercial carpet cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean your carpets.
Disposal / Donation Service
We work with local charities and recycling centers to properly dispose of unwanted items from around the home. We are able to write a tax receipt for any of the items you choose to donate including “The Lucky Dog”, Salvation Army, Goodwill, Veterans Administration, Families in Transition, and Habitat for Humanity.
We also have a clean, modern and secure warehouse that is temperature controlled for a safe place to store your household goods if needed.
Overnight Truck Storage
Real estate closings can be a challenge, we offer overnight truck storage to help take the stress out of your move. We can load your property one day, bring you to our overnight truck storage for a night or two (as needed), then deliver your goods after your business transactions are out of the way. The current overnight truck storage charge is $125 per night per truck.
Budget Pricing for Moving:
The following is a quick way to get a budget price for moving. This should be used for budget purposes only. There are several variables that can impact the cost of a move ie; stairs, elevators, and long hallways for example.
Count the number of rooms of furniture to be moved and reference the guide below to come up with the cost. A room includes bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, and storage area.
1-2 Rooms $400 – $500.00
3 Rooms $500 – $550.00
4 Rooms $600 – $750.00
5 Rooms $750 – $900.00
6 Rooms $900 – $1050.00
7 Rooms $1250 – $1,500.00
It is always best to have an in home estimate done prior to your move, so please use this as a guide only. Also, the cost is for moving only. It does not include packing items into boxes.
